Well hello! Here's a little bit about me.
I’ve been a photographer for over 20 years across genres and subjects, including nature, landscape portrait, product, and lifestyle photography. I’m passionate about a filmic, documentary style. I’ve worked with both film and digital and a huge range of equipment, tools, and software packages.
I completed my BA in Spanish and plant biology in the temperate rainforest of British Columbia, Canada and my MSc in Plant & Fungal Taxonomy, Biodiversity, and Conservation from RBG Kew. I also have an MA in Spanish Literature. I hold a current FISC Level 3 in British field botany and I’m a member of numerous natural societies. I contributes field observations to national biological record banks.
Outside of botany and photography I’m also an educator and a cloth weaver, weaving fine silk cloth in my home textile studio.
